Moyes needs to be given 100 million in the summer

How ever this season ends we have exceeded all expectations. The next phase of the club is going to be crucial.

To keep players such as Rice and Soucek Moyes need to be given serious funds to invest.

Keeping Lingard must be the first priority.

Antonio, as great as he is, isn't capable anymore of playing too many games. Could Moyes do the same with Traore, and turn him into a CF?

A fox in the box would be handy, so Danny Ings?

Dendockner would be another great addition and give us cover for Rice.

And then maybe a punt on a couple of promising lower leaguers.

Get rid of Yarmo, Lanzini and Anderson. We'll be lucky to get 20 million for the lot, but it all helps.

Alternatively, Moyes gets a very limited budget and we become a struggling team again. It's fine lines.

Are our owners going to twist or stick?

If anything this season shows you dont need to spend huge sums to improve the team. Moyes has earnt enough trust to be be able to bring in who he wants, if he can unearth more gems huge money might not be needed.

Agreed sleepy, £100 million won’t get you much after you’ve paid for Lingard and Dendoncker, if you want to buy players who are already established PL performers.

The only way Moyes get anywhere near having £100 million. Is if the SPIVS sell Rice or Soucek from under him. We all know they will trouser any money earned from a European qualification. And firmly stick with what we have. And letting Moyes have a percentage of any sales made.

The only way Moyes is getting 100 million to spend is if we sell both Rice and Soucek.

The David’s are still licking their wounds from the last time they spent that kind of money.

I think that's about all we'll be given, too.

Where the feck is our club going to get £100m from?! As people have already said, the only way we'll get that money this summer is if we sell Rice and Soucek - and what would be the point of that?

There are still some fans who think humans shit cash.

I'd settle for keeping our best players, coming up with the money to buy Lingard - and then doing some more damn good scouting work and picking up a couple of Coufal-style bargains. We need to find a decent striker to back-up Antonio, but we won't have much cash. That might be next season's key loan.

There’s absolutely no chance of them parting with that kind of cash without selling our assets.
It’s a different market now but to think what they wasted on Haller and Anderson is bonkers.
Let’s hope they’ve learnt a lesson and leave Moyes in charge of who we buy and sell the bloke clearly knows what he’s doing.

Not so bothered about how much they cost, as long as Moyes continues to recruit the right type of player, attitude and character etc. Coufal as an example.

How much does Champions or Europa league qualification earn these days? That's where an increased transfer budget comes from.

The loans they have to the club can be converted to shares wiping out the 'debt'

Its another sliding doors moment

Take the club to the NEXT LEVEL or bump around as mediocrities before they exit with a massive profit and buy statues for Sullivans mansion ,poofy velvet slippers for the GAYLORD Jack Sullivan & a massive diamond encrusted marble headstone for Gold in the shape of the front door of 442 Green Street

Sadly no chance of getting 100 million. Our average spend is 50 million and that is in non-COVID times. Moyes will get 30 - 40 million tops and be expected to sell to finance anything else so will maybe have 50 odd million to spend. Half or more will go on a striker. So we have to hope we can find some more Coufals or some young hungry players no one knows about ( unlikely with the scouting systems these days versus our one bloke in a cap that turns up at games).

They are supposed to be fans, if they are fans they would acknowledge they can't take us forward and either accept new investment or a takeover.

But they are not fans, they are chancers who knew exactly what they were doing when they bought the club
